BOYS SOCCER FALLS TO MACONAQUAH, 3-2

The boys varsity soccer team was defeated on Tuesday evening by MIC opponent Maconaquah, 3-2. Tucker Million cored off of an assist from Levy Hird to tie the game with 18 minutes to go. Maconaquah scored again with about 10 left in the game and Evan Alverson scored an un-assisted goal with 5 minutes to go to tie things back up. However, Maconaquah didn't let up and scored another goal in the last 3 minutes. the huskies out shot Maconaquah 22-14, but couldn't find the back of the net for most of the night. Seth Ireland had 10 saves. The JV team won 4-0.

TAYLOR DEFEATS HUSKIES, 2-3

The Hamilton Heights tennis team went down in defeat at home on Wednesday night to conference foe Taylor. Though losing a close 2-3 contest, the Huskies played hard and fought until the bitter end. The loss drops the Huskies to 2-2 overall this season.

Hamilton Heights Middle School is sponsoring its annual fall trash bag sale. With this year's profits we hope to be able to help purchase needed equipment for several of our school's educational and sports programs, but we need YOUR help. Here are the facts of the sale.

* Price is $10.00 per roll - any size

* Pick up date: Sept. 22 from 2:30 to 7:00 pm - West Gym
* See any middle school student to place an order.

TICKETS ON SALE FOR EASTERN GAME AT BALL STATE

Pre-sale tickets for the MIC football game versus Eastern at Ball State University will be sold at the first three home football games. The game against Eastern will be played on Saturday, September 18th at 1:00 pm. Tickets are $8.00 for pre-sale and $10.00 on game day at the gate.
